Aastra Technologies is pleased with the platform Gitex has provided in sourcing new partners and resellers to help them service the EMEA region.

The developer of IP-based and traditional network communication systems exhibited at Gitex Technology Week for the first time this year.

“Our existing partners have signed contracts with resellers during Gitex, and we have met seven potential new partners from four different countries through this event. We are very very happy and will definitely return next year with a stand that’s four times bigger,” commented Peter Hofman, president of Aastra MENA

From their regional headquarters in Dubai Internet City, the company is keen to increase their partner and reseller network not for the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and other countries around the Caspian Sea.

Already the market leader in EMEA, Hofman predicts that Aastra will “be number one globally” in the next five years.
